EVMHA would like to keep all our members informed of how our teams are looking for this upcoming season!

After a meeting last night, we are busy working on an ice schedule and although teams are not confirmed or finalized yet we do have a plan moving forward.  If you are wondering why teams are not final, it is because we are still waiting for U13-U18 tryouts for the EK Tier 1 Avalanche and Tier 2 Bucks tryouts to be finished so we know how many players will be released.

For now the teams look like this:

Initiation- in both Elkford and Sparwood will share practice ice once per week with U7.

U7- 1 combined team Sparwood and Elkford

U9-  2 combined teams Elkford and Sparwood

U11- 1 development (Competitive team) (tryouts will be announced soon) 1-2 (depending on final numbers) house teams.  Combined Elkford and Sparwood

U13- 1 Raiders (sign up for tryouts on teamsnap now) and 1 house team (possibly 2) all teams combined Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie

U15- 1 Raiders (sign up for tryouts on teamsnap now) and 1 house team combined Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie

U18- 1 team combined Elkford, Sparwood and Fernie

Again, these numbers are NOT finalized, but they are a great start and close to what we are hoping to have this year.

U11 EV Development (Competitive) Tryout information will be available in the next week or two.

Once player numbers are finalized we will release the ice schedule and teams.

We would also like to let you know that we can always use volunteers at each level for managers, safety, coaches, and assistant coaches.
