To Register, your player will require a Hockey Canada ID Number. Returning players Hockey Canada ID Number will automatically populate into the forms when you log in to register. If you cannot find your Hockey Canada Number please contact registrar@evmha.ca

If your player has never played minor hockey in Canada, please contact registrar@evmha.ca 
You will need:
- first and last name
- DOB
- residential address
- preferred email
- gender
- primary birth country (if not Canada)
- ethnicity
- do you identify as Indigenous

Registration

  • All players must register within their designated Hockey Canada divisions by birth year.
  • U13 players who wish to tryout for Cranbrook Bucks mixed and Female teams must first register with their home Association for insurance and residency verification purposes. There will be a separate tryout fee and registration to attend these tryouts.
  • U15 and U18 players who wish to tryout for the EK Avalanche Zone Tier 1 teams, must first register with their home Association for insurance and residency verification purposes. There will be a separate tryout fee and registration to attend these tryouts. Information will be sent out in June/July by the EK Zone Lead regarding that process.

Fees 

  • A $50 non-refundable registration deposit is required to complete registration. Any registrants that have not paid the required $50 deposit by June 15th, will not be considered registered and are subsequent to be responsible for fees posted after June 15th, 2024.
  • Early registration deadline is June 15th, 2024. After which pricing will increase for U7+ age groups.
  • Installment payment options are available online at the time of registration.
  • If a player has newly moved to the area after the registration deadline, they will receive the early bird rate.
  • Full fees are due by September 1st, 2024. Players will not be permitted to start the season until registration fees are paid in full.

Refunds

  • Registration Refunds: Up to September 30th - 90% of the fee will be refunded, less the insurance amount of $50.00. During the month of October - 75% of the fee will be refunded, less the insurance amount of $50.00. During the month of November - 50% of the fee will be refunded, less the insurance amount of $50.00. Thereafter, none of the fee will be refunded.
  •  In the event of an injury, sickness or accident a refund may be issued, subject to review and approval. A doctor’s note may be required. Such a request must be made in writing and sent to the President and Vice President of EVMHA. In the event that EVMHA does not have a team in a division a full refund will be issued, minus the pre-registration fee.
  • Refunds are subject to a $25 Administration Fee.
  • Tryout fees are non-refundable once the tryouts have started.
  • Any players who participate in Rep tryouts and subsequently withdraws from hockey is not eligible for any refund.
